Magazine Ads 1960

Not one I’ve seen in any of the magazines we get.  “Be a taxidermist.  Double your hunting fun?”  “Mount Birds, Animals, Fish, Heads,…”  I haven’t heard anything this sick since a waiter in some fancy restaurant back east told me he’d be happy to bone my dover sole tableside.

Okay, I’ve sharpened everybody’s saw, now what?

And last, but certainly not least, “FLOK-KRAFT”  Suede Spray.  Suddenly, we’re FLOK-ing every item in the house!  1960 looks fun!

I love all vintage ads. I’m not so familiar with the taxidermy stuff or the saw but I’m gonna always love anything from that era. But the SPRAY WITH SUEDE IS KILLING ME!! Floking is one of my favorite graft things in the world. That floked radio is the BEST. I’m awarding a certifiKitsch for the ads but please resubmit SPRAY WITH SUEDE on its own so I can honor it with its own Camembert.
