AWMOK’s first little mini convention of sorts

(Literally among the first aK’s to join AWMOK in September, 2009 – (L-R) Mark Blackwell, windupkitty, QoK AW, kookykitsch and Meshuggah Mel.)

Up north at kookykitsch’s and Meshuggah Mel’s Clean House garage sale.  I made a KILLING but can’t utter a peep about it until the show airs on The Style Network over the summer.  But we had a fantastic party last night, thrown in my honor I might add, so excellent points for all new aKitschionados pictured below.

Jumping in the van now and heading back to the Motherland down south.  All will be back to normal here tomorrow as far as vociferous amounts of your kitsch being featured.

    I can’t wait for the show!! What great looking aKitschionados, and a great AWMOK party!! So cute!!.. Great pictures, you all look so good, in spite of being so camera shy….smile.

    What a wonderful evening we had! I’ll be posting photos soon. I took 149 of them at the party alone. The Twister shots were pretty darn funny. :)

    Allee… Thanks for being a fabulous guest of honor! Was a real pleasure getting to know you and Mark. Look forward to your photos and stories from the weekend. (Dying to know what you picked up at the sale.)

    I should have loaded more sweets on you for your road trip…we ended with so much! Windup Kitty really outdid herself!

      Me, Mark and the bamboo dishes all got home safely. What a wonderful party! I really really really am not the type to complement anyone on a party or on friends or on clothes or on collections or on anything unless I really really really mean it and I really really really mean it!

      I can’t divulge what I picked up at the sale until after the show airs. I will show a few things that I got at another place that Mel sent us to close to where the Clean house shoot was where Jessica also has a little section. I got a few things in that place, one of which is an ice bucket that still has me hyperventilating.

      We actually drove back with a enough sweets to get us home in record speed! Windupkitty absolutely DID outdo herself and we left with a huge stash of brownies, M&M Peanut cookies, and toffee, none of which I’m too proud to say I plowed down. All washed down with the bottles Starbucks Frapaccino that I’m obsessed with having on board for road trips. Mark is much better behaved when it comes to such things.

      Will definitely be posting some party photos this week. When you post yours please also post them here at AWMOK. AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING!!!

      heh heh, yeah, I shoulda let my neighbors have more sweets…didn’t know how many people would be there, but then, I can never cook a small amount of anything…just doesn’t seem right! What a lovely night full of lovely people and certainly some amazing kitsch!

      Sorry I missed you there. Did you get great stuff? We can’t talk about any specifics until after the show airs in the summer but I definitely made some good finds.
