This awesome sign outside the tiny hospital in Avalon (on Catalina island for those out-of-towners) is sure to cheer up anyone who’s recently had, say, knee surgery.

    I love this! Wish I owned this to stick it out on my front lawn these past few days. That would’ve put me in a much better mood, which was the whole idea of me having my friends don shower caps, paint masks and latex gloves for photo ops.

    I really love the little sailor boy cap action going on with the nurse. And I always love old wooden signs when the paint is peeling like it is on this one. It’s aged perfectly.

    Although I don’t like the idea of a “one way” sign on anything having to do with a hospital!

    Nice! I just now remember seeing “Quiet, Hospital Zone” signs by the hospital where I lived as a kid.
    And across the street from the hospital was the public elementary school. We screamed bloody murder every recess, and nobody said we couldn’t!
