Absolutely fantastic hair. Bubbles (http://www.bubblestheartist.com/ ) would be so jealous of your hair feathering and sculpting technique, especially set against that wallpaper background. Just excellent. Overall color scheme exceptional too.

Love her scarf blowing in the wind when her hair doesn’t move excellent. The bangs, exceptional, especially how they play against the eyelashes. And then how those lines are echoed again in her brooch.

Wow. I forgot about this one. Thank you for my Camembert Award. This was one of the first things I painted. I always liked her tiny lips and the floral wall paper.

This is absolutely stunning, Denny! This is something I would be proud to have hanging in my home. Just the floral background itself is amazing, and the woman looks exotic and beautiful, and a little evil (in a good way). This is gorgeous, just gorgeous!

Wow, thank you so much Michael. This wasn’t a favorite when I was done with it. u89p90. (I am leaving those numbers and letters there. My 90 pound baby just threw one of her paws on my keyboard.) Anyway…..

Thank you again Michael for being one of my very first sales and giving “The Sleeping Juggler” a good home.

I still can’t believe “Asian Lady With Bee-Hive” received a Camembert Award.

This one is more subtle than a lot of your other paintings. It’s less of a caricature and more of a mood. Yes, the hair is caricaturey but the shading makes it soft. Texturally it looks great with the wallpaper, which makes a perfect backdrop. Her earrings against the wallpaper is great too. I think you’ve really captured the wardrobe that this lady would wear perfectly too. Fantastic color scheme. Of all of your paintings I think this one is the most dimensional.

I agree with you, Allee. This is more of a mood piece and less caricature. You must be proud to know that you (Bubbles) played an influence in Denny picking up a paintbrush. I think that’s the biggest compliment, when our own work inspires others.

And to think i thought you’d taken a new direction in painting when i first saw it. One of the first and great right off the bat. Maybe more in this vein, as it looks like it can be followed up on. Nice one Denny.
