I think I saw these lights in every house I ever played in growing up. Everyones parents owned these lamps. What really kills me is that I purchased this at a church holiday flea market and bake sale. I was even able to meet the lady who donated this to the sale. It cost me $4.00 and I was floored to discover that it had a red, flickering bulb already inside of it. You can’t see the flickering in the pic but trust me, it flickers.

Oh yeah, these were all over the place in the 60’s and 70’s. I thought they were so tacky at the time but, of course, revere them now!

$4 is a ridiculously good deal, those glass globes don’t hold up very well around people who have been drinking.
