The Museum of Modern Art in NYC has a great retro kitchen exhibit on display now. Flash was not allowed. The color is a soft turquoise blue with a white face, measuring about 15″ high.
Ooh, I sure love to see that exhibit. This clock is fantastic. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a clock that had a separate timer mounted on it like that. Do you know if this was made of metal or plastic?
Does the exhibit feature full kitchens or just a lot of artifacts that populate kitchens?
As far as no flash goes, do you know how to adjust the ISO on your camera? Usually a higher ISO will photograph better in low light. Though I’m happy to see this clock in whatever light possible!
Glad to see your submissions again! I always enjoy them so much.

The energy at the MOMA just fills me up. What is considered to be a small exhibit is a perfect AW picture taking event. This clock was set higher on the wall, but certain is metal. I took even more shots of kitchen ads, product displays and an ultra modern 50’s cabinet if you are interested in more.
Thank you for the tip on a HI ISO setting. I had to tweek the color to help knock out the yellow. I’ll experiment.
Glad to be back!

Beautiful clock, really sorry to miss the exhibit.

I would love to see this exhibit, a kitschy kitchen is my favorite room in the house.
