I’ve got the Farrah Fawcett conditioner as well.

I love, love, loved gift stamps when I was a kid. Gold Bell was the brand we really collected in Detroit. I got my blanket and a radio for college from the gift stamps. My second favorite was S&H. I still get a thrill turning the pages of the books that get all puffy and swollen once you paste the stamps in.

I have a massive collection of old microphones. The one pictured here was most likely used by a dispatcher at a taxi company.

The only Kennedy stuff I collect is stuff that’s slightly off. I absolutely love these scarred statues. They’re 8 inches tall.

When the big earthquake happened in Los Angeles in 1994, absolutely everything in my rec room, where everything pictured here is on shelves, crashed to the floor. The only thing that brought a smile to my face amidst so much devastation was that somehow the love boat puzzle landed face up, completely intact, and was floating on the sea of broken memorabilia.

Flex-Straws defined my childhood. And I love that as an extra bonus you got an 8 inch long piece of bubblegum with one of them.

Whoa! Imitation COFFEE-flavored straws that are sweetened with saccharine and marketed to kids?! And they’re Good Housekeeping approved?!

Can’t believe that I never caught that they were coffee flavored until now. They looked chocolate to me and I just accepted it. Maybe I was tanking up on coffee flavored straws as a kid. That would explain a lot…

I did catch this when I photographed the straws. I never had the flavored ones but I did have the flex straws, minus the bubble gum.
