I don’t remember nylons coming in cans but I do remember then coming in eggs. They should market panty hose like this again!

Double wear in every pair!

I love that this can came with it’s own key to unlock the pantyhose inside.

This just killed me the first time I saw this at “Willis Wonderland”. Panti-Hose inspired by Twiggy.

I love the bra artwork on all of these old boxes. I forgot to ask if there was a bra inside!

    Those Nylons In A Can are one of my favorite things I own as well as one of the first things I bought way back when when I became conscious that something was ‚Äúkitsch‚Äù. It came out in the early 50s and was precursor to Legg’s. There’s a key like on a sardine can on the bottom but I don’t dare ever open it as you can still hear the bunched up nylons bouncing up and down when you shake the can.

    Twiggy was one of the first celebrities I remember who ever had her own brand of pantyhose. I have quite a lot of Twiggy memorabilia but it’s more obvious stuff like eyeliner and other make up related items.

    I love the Playform Living Bra box. It’s the exact size of a shoebox, the colors are great, and who can argue with ‚ÄúLong Line Strapless with Elastic Magic-Midriff‚Äù? Unfortunately, there’s no bra inside. When I found it it was at some massive thrift shop in a case of a dozen empty Playform boxes. I was so broke I could only buy one. To say these would’ve made great gift boxes is an understatement.
