You included some of my favorite beer signs that I own. Billy Dee Williams as the spokesman for Colt 45 was completely classic. I’m very happy to have this sign. He had a famous quote at the time that he would endorse anything “as long as they pay me”, even marijuana.

The signs in the next three photos are all made out of cardboard but are incredibly unique cardboard signs. The first two include a frame, also made out of cardboard. Those two are early 1950’s scenes of Kansas City and Los Angeles. These are two of the most popular pieces here at Willis Wonderland.

The Olympia beer sign is actually three-dimensional with the couple and the beer logo on a separate layer from the buildings in back. The colors on this one are gorgeous. The background almost looks like an oil painting.

The Cool Blue Pabst Blue Ribbon sign is the only one of these that lights up. That graphic of that couple in those outfits with that guitar absolutely defines one of the periods of music that was most influential on me.

I have a bunch of different Afro Cola cans and a couple different Black Pride cans. Black Pride had quite an interesting history: https://www.alleewillis.com/blog/2009/07/24/allee-willis-kitsch-o-the-day-black-pride-beer/

The “Cool Blue” really just sends me but it was the Billy Dee sign that had me in awe. It’s a beautiful sign!
