I have been passing up on this weird psychedelic hooks-into-your-car’s-cigarette-lighter spotlight for WEEKS at the flea market. It has been there all summer and I haven’t bought it yet. I love the art on the box.. so fancy and rock-and-roll inspired on such a mundane product. If the box wasn’t so beat up I would have bought it by now. Maybe I’ll buy it before the summer’s over? I wanted to take more pictures of the box but the man behind the table was giving me the “uhm.. why are you taking pictures of my stuff?” leery look.
The quality of the spotlight, though it looks like metal, is some sort of cheap lightweight plastic. Added kitsch value! I now hope it’s still there because the back illustrates some of the “100 and one” uses in the same far-out 60s style.

This is definitely one of those things that I would’ve bought for the box as opposed to the product. I love the way that the box was adapted to “spotlight” the product. And I absolutely love that the textured silver portion of the light is plastic.
Yes, on your next trip to wherever this is definitely buy this. Just the fact that it’s a plug-in hand spot-lite is good enough but the graphic showing the guy with his arm around the girl spotlighting street addresses at the same time is way too good to pass up. And I’d love to know what the 100 and one uses are.

This is a great graphic..I love the scarf. They were a great accessory even before Bret Michaels…smile. The scarf the girl in the graphic is wearing w/her sunglasses looks like Rhoda from the Mary Tyler Moore Show…great colors..

Used to spy on people necking on Lover’s Lane. (They’ll think it’s the fuzz!)
