I am not totally clear on what year this lamp came from or what it was even used for. The “ball shade” is huge and measures 49 inches in circumference, the pole that is used for the body is 10 inches long and the base is quite heavy and it measures 11 inches across the base. I found this at a local thrift called “Hope Chest”. I haven’t explored this lamp yet to see what type of bulb is uses, after all it does work perfectly. I’ve never seen such a heavy, industrial type cord attached to a lamp like this. All parts of it seem to be pretty solid. This lamp cost $31.00. Excuse the Terrier’s butt shot in this pic.

I use it all the time when doing my book work for school. It has two settings, high & low. Gives great light.
