Found Up-North in Petoskey, Mi….
This fab vintage turquoise “Patio Range” was made by GE…
One side had a grill and the other side had a electric cook-top range and “oven” …There were drop down shelves for working and/or eating…It was on wheels and came with (which you can’t see) a matching turquoise umbrella w/white fringe!!..
I’ve never seen a “patio range”…it looked like it came out of the pages of a 1950’s Better Homes and Gardens…”The California Patio” Edition … I was blown away…

I need something like this so bad I can taste it. Have been looking around for an outdoor grill that wouldn’t offend my sensibilities and this is it! What it was it going for? (though Shipping would cost more than the unit itself). I’m SO jealous of whoever nabbed this.

who wouldn’t want this killer? wow I am crazy for it! Today’s Home Depot specials don’t hold a candle to this grillzilla. Great find.
Again, another item on AWMOK that is so different and cool!

Magnificent! Does the grill take actual brickettes or is it fully electric?

Thanks, it is such a great piece… It’s all electric..
The dealer who had the patio range said GE was doing lots of advertising during the 50’s, I tried to find a vintage ad to put in the AWMOK post for detailed info, but had no luck.

saw one at the Modernism Show this weekend in Denver. It was for sale for $2,000, the guy said it was right out of the box, never used. Strange coincidence!

Really!!… Glad you got to see it.. Was the dealer selling from the mid-west???…
Will you be able to post any pictures from Denver Modernism??

It was in CHARLES PHOENIX’ BOOTH!

I have a picture of him in the booth with the range behind him, but you should ask him about it.
