The Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas had a great buffet when we visited a few years ago. I couldn’t help but to snap shots of their dessert bar. The presentation was picture perfect and tasted just as good. I know you love desserts and this may not qualify as kitsch, but this sure can tempt even the strongest calorie counter.

This is a gorgeous shot! Astounding colors. I love mini cherry pies. When I first looked at the photo I thought it was cherry topped chocolate pudding. I like whipped cream and cherry topped anything!

Taking pictures of this beautifully presented dessert was more satifying than nibbling. Crisp, fresh fruit with a scoop of mint choculate chip ice cream is fine with me.
