I picked this up a few years ago at a flea market for, I think, 25¬¢. Subtitle is: “specialty recipes with a foreign flavor”. Copyright 1958, recipes include those from countries such as: Brazil, China, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Haiti, Hawaii (a year before it became a state), Hungary, Israel, Italy, Mexico, The Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Turkey.
France, Hungary, and Italy are the most well-represented (some countries only get one or two recipes).

Gorgeous cookbook. An excellent companion piece to mine – https://www.alleewillis.com/blog/2010/07/15/allee-willis-kitsch-o-the-dy-%E2%80%93-betty-crockers-dinner-for-two-cookbook/ – but with an eleganza foreign twist to it:
I’m sure that all the gorgeous illustrations excited a 50’s housewife even more than she already was with her new O’Keefe & Merritt or GE stove and matching appliances.
Excellent job of documentation!
