This fabulous little place is located on Laurel Canyon Blvd in the Valley. They have an amazing pie selection which I was to taste not soon after my sandwich as I had a gigantic pie waiting for at “Willis Wonderland”.

Strawberry Fudge pie? Can heaven really come in the form of a pie?

The entrance to the “Four N’ 20”.

A monthly pie is always a good thing. If I get back in a month, which I highly doubt, this pie is on my list to try.

A turkey melt with bean sprouts and a side order or french fries. Note how carefully I applied the ketchup.

There is never a shortage of pies.

The pie selection.

Leaving the “Four N’ 20” for my first trip to “Willis Wonderland”.

4 ‘n 20 is a chain but this particular one is always fabulous. Much inspiration has been born while I was eating here. Chocolate fudge pie with bananas is the best seller here. I wish this place was open 24 hours.

    Excellent ketchuptry, Denny!

I used to live in Laurel Canyon, so I’m very familiar with 4 n’ 20 and their amazing pies. Haven’t been there in a long time, but I fondly remember it as a throwback to those great coffee shops of the past. So glad it hasn’t become hip and trendy.

It has not become hip and trendy and I’m glad. I soak up the character of these places like a sponge.

Nessa, I didn’t know if I should have had that proper lunch or just a whole pie to myself.

Mooshe, thanks for posting this. I love the birds which I think is to represent pie? Is this a different place then the one I am pictured at?

They’re birds baked in a pie– “when the pie was opened the birds began to sing. Wasn’t that a dainty dish to set before a king?”

I’m pretty sure this is a different one. I found this one in Van Nuys on a terrible day I had to walk to the DMV through Auto Row. I really should have stopped for some pie!
