This “Paint By Number” of roses was created in 1960 by Jay. Love it when an artist signs his work. He did a great job! The original heavy wood frame overwhelms the painting. I like the one on the right best.

    Jay did a beautiful job!

Paint by number renderings are the Mona Lisa of Kitsch paintings. The colors in this one are great and the heavy wood frames are classic. And, as in anything, a matching set is always preferable to going solo.

I was always so excited starting a new Paint-By-Number painting but got frustrated in due time and found myself inevitably having to go out of the lines. I couldn’t stand doing anything that looked exactly like what everyone else was doing as it was too easy to notice any mistakes by comparison.

I have a whole bunch of Paint-By-Nmber painting kits available for my alter-ego, Bubbles the artist’s, paintings. Bubbles is very into individual style so the lines are only suggestions. https://www.alleewillis.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=paint-by-number

You’re creativity oozes with everything you touch. Bubbles’ paint by numbers creations are wonderful. Any one of them makes me laugh….in a good way.
