Spotted at a flea market… when you opened it up, it was a normal pair of granny panties with an extension cord attached, har har. Sorry I don’t have a pic of that.

    Am awarding this a CertifiKitsch of AuthenKitschity because I’ve seen this before and I know what it looks like on the inside. I would have snapped this up immediately unless it was so overpriced it didn’t make sense to “get a charge out of being in style”. Next time open the box and snap a photo for sure. Granny panties with an extension cord insures not only that you have hot pants but perhaps be electrocuted as this was so cheaply made.

      I know I should have bought it, it was priced at $5. I’m getting to the point though that if I don’t want to be on one of those crazy hoarder shows on TV I have to cut back on my shopping a little, hehe.. but that’s why I always have a camera in my pocket when I’m out and about.

        I know the feeling. I cut back on collecting for years and then started to go crazy again when I started my Kitsch O’ The Day blog and went into overdrive when I started AWMoK.com. Because I look at all the mind-boggling stuff you aKitschionados submit it just makes me hungry for more.

    The year is 1969. I can remember actually going to work, in a real office, mid town Manhattan, dressed up in purple velore “hot pants”, black patent leather knee high boots, a fancy blouse & jewelry, along with so many others. We were totally in style for the times. I was young, great legs and it was hot pants or a mini skirt that was just as short…which I also enjoyed!
