Ever wanted to do a scene from Masque of the Red Death or The Importance of Being Earnest with the legendary Vincent Price? You could, with this record which leaves curiously long gaps between bits of dialogue for you to fill in, using the included script.
I don’t know how many were in the series, but the Price one was always my favorite of the few I had as a kid. If I ever unearth the cassettes I recorded our scenes on, I’m sure it’ll prove a fine aural reminder of why I chose writing over acting.

This series of LPs is pretty priceless. They come with a mimeographed script that you read as you play the records and the celebrity whose name graces the LP “acts” with you. I have the one with Arlene Dahl although it was the victim of a leaky porch incident and the cover now looks like a bloated fish with lace on top as it got so wet and mildewy. But I wouldn’t dare throw Arlene away as this Co-Star series is so hot.
In addition to Price and Dahl, Co-Star actors included Tallulah Bankhead, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, George Raft, Basil Rathbone and Fernando Lamas.

I am a huge fan of Vincent Price and to me, the man can do no wrong. Thanks for posting, this is fabulous, I love it,
