I love when you have the little typewritten tags on your pieces. I wasn’t an Orphan Annie lover so I’m not sure if the blonde guy in the glasses who looks kind of like Clark Kent has anything to do with Annie or the little dog who I’m assuming is Sandy. Is he the detective looking for the tall bald man?

I wasn’t a great fan of musicals when Annie opened. So many people tried to get me to go but I fear I would’ve looked like how you’ve portrayed Annie’s mom had I been forced to sit in the theater.

i wasn’t really a fan, and i never saw the play..the story fascinates me, like Snow White. A young girl living with 7 dwarfs..Annie taken in by a rich older man who she called “Daddy”
subliminal sexual images and stories..no wonder the whole country is sexually nutty.
The man , in my mind, was Daddy the kidnapper, in a wig and glasses..he has her dog. as portrayed in the portrait and is actually sitting on Annie..(the doll is really Drew Carey).
