    I was obsessed with CKLW growing up in Detroit. I had my ear glued to the radio 24/7 from the first time my parents ever left me alone as a kid. It was great for them because I loved them going out because it meant I could play their big avocado green clock radio because all I did was dance to whatever was on CKLW once I heard the car pull away.

    I definitely remember Tom Clay. I didn’t pay any attention to news or sports so don’t know the other djs though this was a little before my time as my serious radio obsession didn’t begin until 1960. But I love anything having to do with DETROIT so thanks so much for submitting this.
