I went down to a local Philly burb today called, “Roxborough” to have lunch with my 100 year old grandmothers 90 year old sister, my Aunt Sylvia. She sold her house in 2006 and moved into a pretty roomy apartment . She is getting older and doesn’t want to bother with the upkeep of a big house and found a great apartment in a house built in 1909. I was just dying over the black and white flooring and was really hyperventilating over her CALO stove. It’s in mint condition and I couldn’t stop staring at it.
Here’s Aunt Sylvia who was quite confused by my “The Curse of the Zombie Vampire Brides” t shirt. She’s a remarkable woman and is on the board of directors for the historical society of Roxborough. She is also an avid horticulturist! She is a very busy 90 year old lady!
Here is the CALO stove logo.

I love old stoves but you better make sure it’s in 100% tip top shape before firing ‘er up as any old stove owner will tell you they can explode in your face.
Say hi to Aunt Slyvia!

Yeah, be careful with that stove..has it been checked for leaks etc? It’s beautiful though and so sparkling clean which makes it even better!!

It’s in mint working condition.
Aunt Sylvia still has her hair, that’s a good sign.
