Pineapple Pecan Ice Cream?

I found this great sign at an estate sale.  It was apparently found in an old store inside a box that hadn’t been opened  since the 50’s.  The finder laminated it instantly to prevent it from disintegrating.  The enormous size of the serving gives it a surreal David Lynch feel, and has anyone ever seen Pineapple Pecan as an ice cream flavor?  I grew up in the midwest and have lived in L.A. for almost thirty years and have never come across it.  Ever.

    Love the MOUNTAIN of ice cream in font of the tyke. Colors are gorgeous. Some food stylist worked a long time on those textures.

    I hate pecans – though butter pecan ice cream was oe of my faves as a kid. But the thought of those nuts with pineapple is not my idea of a pleasant scoop. But that ice cream does look mighty tasty….
