Found this typewriter lady planter at an antique mall and had to have her!
But… why is she bald?! Well, this is a Napcoware planter, and during this time period, Napco was making a lot of ceramics with applied hair. (I’ve posted a few before.) I figure this little lady has just flipped her wig! But, her bald little egg-head just made her more endearing to me.

Napcoware is definitely a known brand. My theory here is perhaps a worker at the factory’s snuck this little cutie out before her follicles were glued on. She looks pretty happy with her little bald head so I wouldn’t worry too much about her.
If only I could position myself over my computer keyboard this way.

I just love it. I have to find something that fits in here so I can leave it out some place obvious where everyone can see it.

This is so cute…I’ve not heard of this make before , I would have caused a stampede for this .

I was lucky to find it, it was on a low shelf behind some other things. I wouldn’t have seen it if I hadn’t crouched down to look at something else.

Napco made some of the CUTEST things ever. The faces they painted are precious. Very collectible.
