This is the only known picture I have of my mother sporting this hair style. I scrambled to look for more but to no avail. My Mother told me this was a hair style that she hated the most.

So 1966. Looks like she’s sporting penny loafers too! Are those little socklets she’s wearing too?

Actually mom is not wearing socks. She wore those “pennies” with bare feet. FYI, the 20/21 year old next to her is my Aunt Jeannie, my father’s sister. Theeeeee most tremendously nutty person in my family. She’s an absolute scream and all we do when we see each other is laugh. Now she had some great hair do’s but I don’t have many photos of her. My father’s side of the family all live in Memphis, Tenn.
I always thought my mother looked like a badass in this picture. I also love my mother’s leather jacket.
