This were actually made by Drexel in the early 70’s. They aren’t my style at all, but certainly deserve a place in the AWMOK. Drexel also did a a painted collection in the 60’s called Apart-Mate, but it was not at all like this…This, well, yeah….I’m guessing Drexel only took it this far once…which was enough…..

This isn’t even my favorite period of design but I would kill for this set. I actually walked into my bedroom as soon as I saw these photos and tried to figure out if there was any way this would fit in if I got rid of what I had. Really one of the absolute best examples of 1960s mod furniture design I’ve ever seen!

Yea, not my taste at all. I have a hard time even looking at it, but it really is pretty astounding! Drexel went to the mat on this one, for sure!
