I do not have a full set , but I just love this pattern, Ive always liked china that has crinoline  or gypsy style  ladies, I think it goes back to visiting my grandmother and the afternoon tea cakes were usually served on a random selection of these style of plates… There is no factory marking on the back, and as to the age I have no Idea, I just love looking at them.

Although I definitely head more toward the futuristic than this period there are absolutely gorgeous. I hope you find more of them. I will be on the lookout stateside and alert you should I ever stumble across this lovely lady.

Excellent choice of shelf paper as well./

Oh how I love Brigadoon (she does look like Cyd Charisse) Karl frequently says ‘What DVD shall we watch’ ? I always reply ‘Brigadoon’ and he groans. I just love the idea of a village that appears one day every 100 yrs, and Cyd is just so gorgeous.

I know, it’s such a cheesy film and the “accents” are unforgivable, but i love it anyway too…and you can’t go wrong with cyd charisse…every once in awhile i will look up her dance numbers with fred astaire…band wagon is my favorite…that dance in central park is just dreamy….
