Though not old enough to have seen it originally, I’ve always loved Laugh-In and watched it in re-runs when I was growing up. I spotted this binder at an antique shop and had to snap a picture.
I would’ve snapped this up so fast i would’ve skinned my fingers diving into my purse. I worshipped Laugh-In and collect anything I see that’s reasonably priced. Though this probably wasn’t.
I never saw this looseleaf before. Its very rare. and was probably out out the first year of the show as it doesn’t include Lily Tomlin.
I recently sat in between JoAnne Worley and George Schlatter, who produced the show, at a tribute lunch for Lily Tomlin were we all spoke.
Oh wow, if I would have known it was very rare I probably would have bought it. It was only $20 but I was a bit low on cash that day. If it’s still there next time I’m in town maybe I’ll pick it up.
I still vividly recall the first time “sock it to me” was used on the show. The next day at junior high, that was on everybody, and i mean, everybody’s! lips. That show was huge and one of those religious watches. Plant yourself for an hour and don’t move, not even to go to the bathroom.
