    Absolutely quintessential kitsch! Especially with the original packaging, which I’d leave attached if I wore this now.

    I had a pocket protector phase in the early 80’s. Wouldn’t wear any of my vintage shirts without one.

    We love pocket protectors!!!.. We have a high school “Audio Visual” guy at this house….he was one of the guys who wheeled the squeaky cart down the hall with the projector, delivering it to the classroom that was showing a film. He has great stories about his beloved pocket protector!!!
