I have dreamed of owning a Trident for as long as I can remember. http://www.peelengineering.co.uk/about.php
I never knew they were still in production. And now they are also doing the P50. This is a short submission for me as I am completely out of breath. Holy everything. HOly freaking all things everywhere. http://www.peelengineering.co.uk/store_cat.php?peelstore=4

I know, I have been in love with these for years and can’t believe they are in production again!! There was only a handful made back in the day…The only thing I don’t agree with is the ASTRONOMICAL sale price..Totally NOT the original intention and smacks of the hipster silicon valley greed I’ve grown to dislike so much (by the way, the growing process was immediate…perhaps a better way to describe it is stewing or seething, not growing!)
Meanwhile, the designs are amazing and I still love them…I have to read more, but I think I remember being able to actually pick them up and drag them, like they came with a handle or something?! So very cool. In a perfect world, we would all drive these and no one would get hurt in accidents!

OK, yeah, just rewatched the video a bit calmer and picked up that the original cost in 1963 was 189 pounds. It was supposed to be cheap and useful…Now I’m REALLY mad at the brats making them today!!!! Wrong intentions, people!!!!!!!
Here’s a great article I found in the Times about micro cars too….
