I found this page of doll crafts in an old 1960s “Pack-o-Fun” magazine, a periodical mostly dedicated to making things out of junk you have laying around the house. Stuff like old ham cans, pop-bottle lids, popsicle sticks, and egg cartons, etc. A lot of the ideas are aimed at children, to give them ideas for things to make for Mothers’ Day or Fathers’ Day or whatever.
I liked this page.. I’d be thrilled if someone made me a Hair Spray Can Cover.

LOVE this I was going for the pin cushion until you mentioned the hairspray can cover. Then I spotted the men’s trinket tray and the insanity of the paperweight which would probably tip over if you walked too close to it. Oh, I would kill to see the whole magazine.

The hair spray cover is fantastic but I also love the men’s trinket tray.

I’m guessing the trinket tray is made from an empty can of sardines?

Even better.

Yes! Some of the others are jar lids as you can see.
