I didn’t know that Nesbitt bottle was up there. This is a very high shelf right above my kitchen booth. There’s tons of stuff buried up there.
I swear I don’t even remember ever seeing that Celery Salt bottle, that’s how fast it got thrown up there when I found it. But I love that graphic looking at it now.
Vernors was and still is the only ginger ale I LOVE.

Always LOVE seeing “Vegtable People” …
A Vernor’s sounds good…it’s so crazy warm!!!
I had never heard of Vernors until I met my wife, who, like Allee and k2dtw, grew up in or near Detroit. All of your fierce loyalty and belief in this brand is impressive.
Do you drink it now? There’s always a cool dozen in my frig.

Thanks Doug…it’s “Deliciously Different”…:).. Vernor’s had a great bottling plant in downtown Detroit on Woodward Ave. They had the best possible 54′ neon sign w/their Gnome pouring Vernor’s into a mug, it was all sparkly in gold and green….sigh.

The metal part of the sign is in the gifts hop in The Guardian Building downtown. But no neon….

Great photos– I’ll show them to my wife and see if she remembers seeing them when she was a kid.

Actually, I’m not a big fan of ginger ale. Now root beer is a different story…
Allee Willis
I’m the opposite. Tho every now and then a root beet hits the spot.
