This is a TV lamp from the fifties, which I recently found at a garage sale. The starfish is a real one; so are the shells. The base is made of chalkware with a swirl pattern and believe it or not, the lamp actually works.

Love this! Especially as the starfish is real. What a wacky treatment of it.
I love kitschy lamps made of shells in general.
