I could not resist these two holiday icons – santa and a snowman, faithfully repproduced in what appears to be a nylon sock encasing two styrofoam balls. All the great kitschy ingredients were used in making these cheerful guys – styrofoam, googly eyes, felt, yarn and gingham. Originally I thought they were hand made but upon closer inspection they are from overseas.
It certainly is a Fun World with these two in it. Happy New Year!

I haven’t thought about these things for years but as soon as I looked at your post I flashed on one of my favorite toys growing up that was made exactly like this. OMG, I love these because of those memories as well as the fact that they look so incredibly stupid, especially Mr. Snowman, whose shape is so lovingly featured sans ornament.
