   I’m in both of these Dusty books and probably any to be written from here on in. Facts in both are erroneous though, as these bios often are. But if I’d be proud to be in anyone’s biography it’s Dusty’s, who I wrote 3 songs for. My “What Have i Done To Deserve This?” was her second biggest hit in the US behind “Son Of A Preacher Man”.

   I Wish That Love Would Last, Send It To Me, & What Have I Done To Done To Deserve This? “I Wish That Love Would Last” was a song used in the film “Norma Rae”. “Send It To Me” was featured on Dusty’s album “Reputation”.

       Actually, I don;t think “I Wish That Love Would Last” was on the Norma Rae soundtrack. I think it was the B side of the hit from that LP, “It Goes How It Goes’.

   It was on the b-side but the research shows that it was heard in the film but never issued on the soundtrack. I should look into this a bit more….

   Glad I checked. I found the following on a Dusty discography” It Goes Like It Goes b/w I Wish That Love Would Last”. It was the a-side I believe that was featured in the film:

   20th Century Fox 2457 – It Goes Like It Goes (Theme From Norma Rae) / I Wish That Love Would Last – 1980
