a large sculpture of a burger, with a small hidden hidey-hole under the top bun. I bought it several years ago from someone on eBay who had made it themselves, but I don’t have the artist’s name. I’ve had it on display in my 50’s diner kitchen, and it was a popular piece — everybody loved it. It’s made out of something that looks like concrete (on the bottom, un-painted area), but may be clay or unglazed ceramic. It’s very heavy.

So completely nutty, I mean hamburgery. That compartment burrowed in the middle has earned it AWMOK’s highest honor, a big fat Classique D’ Camembert! It’s such an over-the-top work for such a little compartment space. And those onion slices are killing me. Also, who puts an olive on top of their hamburger?!

This is pretty fantastic.
