This is on the cover of a three 7″ record album that has the whole soundtrack of the movie co starring Jimmy Cagney. It was about the 1920’s jazz singer Ruth Etting and her relationship with a Chicago mobster, Cagney. As a soundtrack album it was at the top of the charts for a long time. I always liked the fact that Doris Day’s real last name was Kappelhoff.

Great shot of Doris Day. I absolutely loved her growing up. Two of my favorite movies were the ones she did with James Garner, especially The Thrill of It All.
