My late sister graduated from UC Berkeley and this publication was for the Senior week May 14 to 20, 1939. It has a lot of pictures of fun times. A fellow classmate was Gregory Peck who acted in five plays there. This “mini magazine” is 6″ x 9″.

Life magazine was probably the biggest American magazine ever so it’s no surprise that someone would’ve borrowed this for their school program. By any chance was the guy on the cover connected to UC Berkeley?
Do we know what Gregory Peck majored in in college?
Bob Ramsdell
Allee, the man on the cover of the “mini LIFE” magazine was Robert Gordon Sproul. president of UC for many years. A lot of his years there were during the student unrest of the early ’60s. Sproul Hall on the campus was named after him.
Gregory Peck was a pre-med student and majored in English. He was recruited by the drama teacher and acted in 5 plays while at UC.
