I think this guy was 50 cents or something… a crying onion man… I wonder if he had a lid at one time?

   Is there a manufacturer’s mark on him?

   I wonder if they use the same mold for a pumpkin?

     I thought he was unmarked, but I looked again, and on the back of his shoe, he is marked “GARE’Inc 1973”

   Great design…Love him!! We used to have a hardware store that sold corks in various sizes.. They were in open bins, and their sizes would range from tiny tiny to fit the bottom of a s/p shaker.. to huge to fit a jar and/or “Onion Dude”..
