This is one of those old novelty toys from 1957.  I don’t know how Allee acquired this one but it did throw me off at first glance.  I totally fell for it.  Anyway, I could probably fit all the money I have currently inside of this gag.  Now that is a joke for sure.

    It’s a little hard to tell from the photo but there’s a cavity cut into the pages inside of the book where the $50 bill is. The man, of course, draws the women by pulling out the 50.

    I got this on eBay about 10 years ago. Whenever I find anything related to pop art or music and it’s cheap enough I get it. I think this was $3.

    very cool, and from Chicago, I like! Sometimes I wonder what it was like to live in the 50’s and if it wasn’t better. Then someone reminds me I couldn’t have an iPod or a boyfriend and I quickly change my mind again.
