To preface this item, you must know the story. A few years ago, my sister and I decided we missed exchanging Christmas gifts like we did as kids. We knew neither one of us needed anything, nor wanted anything of value. She and I have always had a kindred spirit of Kitsch, so of course I found the perfect gift to send, something you see in the thrift stores of gifts that were not wanted, or at least not wanted anymore, (see the first Want Not Gift below). To make it more of a “game of fun”, we even have rules.
No more than $20.00
Can not be made by sender
Must be proudly displayed
May not be sent back
Must NOT open package until both parties are on the phone together (this is the best part, as we cackle together at what treasure we found “this year”).

I love these jeweled Christmas trees, one more crazy crafter than the next. The ones mounted on velvet are the best.
If there’s any way of taking a larger photo of it that would be great. I love seeing all the nutty contents up close.

Just saw your new post about the Christmas tree. Somehow both posts showed up so I added the photo of the trees lit. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen one of these that has actually lit up. Stupendous!!

I liked it anyway but when I saw it lit I was like “aw”. Nice post. Thanks for sharing.
