This is an actual sculpture/mural on the side of one our remodeled high schools. Quite a controversy over the placement of objects.
From left to right, is suppose to be a Drama Mask, hands applauding, a spilling cup of paint, a cello, two paint brushes, and a blob of paint. When a student noticed some “letters” in the work, quite a hub-bub occurred. The non-local artist swears nothing was intentional. It still proudly glares at all patrons, students, parents, teachers and administrators as they enter the “Fine Arts” wing to the high school. I dunno…… you decide……..

I had to stare at it for a while but I do now definitely see the SEX created by the paint spill, tuning keys of the cello and those paint brushes. I could take either side of the debate. I see how it could have been innocent on the part of the artist or intentional. Either way, it’s pretty great…

Bible Belt…… Salina Kansas. Mural is about 5′ x 8′. It is a great conversation starter……….. made front page news.
