I found this microphone at an estate sale here on the Cape. It has no manufacturer information on it. It’s sits on top of my vintage top hat hat box that I also purchased that day.

I have this exact microphone. I love the look of it.
This mic wasn’t created for singing but rather radio transmissions and inter-office announcements. Because of the eagle on the back this was probably used in a military office. Could have even been for short wave. I use these kind of mics sometimes when I want to get a very weird effect on a vocal or instruments but it’s not really what it was crafted for.
Definitely want to see the hat box.
