My partner’s Mom went to this school. The bee is of simple design and color and just screams “go team”! It’s made of wood and a silvery paint.

    Adorable! So perfect innocent 50’s spirit. Was the school mascot a bee?

    I used to walk past Hunter College evryday to get to my apartment on 76th and 3rd when I first moved to New York in 1969.

    Ernie’s mom attended this school. I’m not sure if this was the mascot but I sure hope it was!
