This painting was pretty much inspired by an encounter I had with the cats at “Willis Wonderland”. I had no idea when I picked up Nibbles (Momma kitty) and turned to put her on her little cat house thing that her children Sweet Potato and Niblet were already on it. Not a good mix as Momma kitty and her children don’t get along all that well. The look on Nibbles face was one of sheer terror much like the cat I painted here.

I still have scars from Lady Nibbles. That’s okay though, I don’t mind when animals use me as a “panic post” instead of a scratching post. I love your kittehs!

What I like about this is that I’ve never seen a cat make that face. PeeWee Herman makes that face, but not cats.
I also love that it’s arms look like they’re coming out of a costume.

this is so brilliant…it might be favorite….of course, i say that about all of your paintings, but yeah, definitely favorite material…..i’ve certainly seen cats make this face “rrrrrrrrrr HI, consider yourself mauled…..”
