This heavy duty restaurant dinner plate is very, very rare. It’s from George’s Gateway Club, a small Lake Tahoe casino club from 1949 to 1955. In 1955 the club was bought by Bill Harrah and expanded into Harrah’s Lake Club. The plate is a rich tan color with rusty brown designs and was manufactured by the Technical Porcelain and China Ware Company (otherwise known as Tepco).

This is one of my favorite plates of yours so far. Especially given that the joint it commemorates turned into Harrah’s.
I love the way the design covers the whole plate and not just the recessed section.
