What are industrial brass plumb bobs?

And are those actually molds they make gloves for? That one all the way to the right (the glove’s right) looks a little strange for a human…

Is NY Pier show both new and vintage or vintage all the way?

The plumb bobs are used by Masons, Carpenters and Surveyors, they hang from a string to establish a plumb line, they are part of all the industrial pieces that are being collected… I’ve only thought about a plumb line w/wallpaper…
I’m not completely sure about all the glove molds …some might be molds for fitting gloves, some might be factory cutters, for industrial canvas or leather gloves?? Again, they are industrial collectibles.
I’ve only had the tall ceramic glove molds that they used to make rubber gloves, and I think Hall China made some of the molds. I found a ceramic mold once for making balloons, kinda cool.
The NY Pier Show is a long running vintage antique show.

I love the plumb bobs. They look like missile or rocket ships. I trip on how cool anything can look when gathered up and displayed together.

Yes!!!… I always love to see collections too.
This seller does a amazing job w/collections of old metal desk top pencil sharpeners, and the old metal hand staplers…surprisingly, so many of them have great design.
