This is the first time I ever incorporated anything else other than the paint to achieve the image, I gave this little guy diamonds for eyes. Yes, that’s a snail on his hat.

The “diamonds” are perfect in Joe’s eyes.
I love that the hat, flowers and shoes are the most predominant parts of Diamond Joe. I love that you left the pants transparent.
But I love more than anything that you incorporated a bug into the hat. It looks a lot like Lilly Pulitzer fabric or what would be on an Enid Collins bag.

I have a secret (well, not anymore). but that snail (although I love it now) was a speck of black paint I was having a hell of a time hiding so I just decided to put a bug on his hat.
