As many akitschianados are fans of bad movies, it seemed appropriate to provide this link to this year’s nominations for the Razzie awards. I’m sure they overlooked all the really great/bad zero-budget turkeys as they tend to focus on studio pictures, but I have to say I’m now very motivated to rent The Last Airbender.

I usually agree with the Razzies more than the Oscars. I generally have a problem with movies that have massive budgets (even if I like the movies) because it all just seems so grossly out of touch with the way the world is today. I always think the money could be used for much greater good. So I’m all for The Razzie keepin’ it real. This year I think Burlesque should have been nominated and have won in all categories.
