I bough this at the Wellfleet Drive-In flea market. Not as large scale as it is in the summer but still plenty of booths to check out. I found this for $10.00 and plan to use it as a wall hanging in a room that I have been collaging with all sorts of stuff.
It’s in gorgeous shape but a tiny part of the label is worn off right in the middle of the name.
The label.

This one’s a honey. And even with the label ripped it’s still gorgeous with that musical notes sash embellishing the wings.
I love xylophones. When I first stared songwriting i couldn’t afford a piano so bought a xylophone and played it with thimbles on my fingers. It was an excellent traveling musician companion too. So I’ve always loved these. Nothing adds sparkle to a track like a xylophone.

wow, this is beautiful! i can’t believe it’s in such great condition!!! i love vintage instruments..i’m 99.9% sure this was the brand that was around when i was in grade school……when instruments were being passed around for music time, i’d just get a knot in my stomach i wanted the xylophone so badly!!!! :D

I just really love the red. I think this may be a brand called “TUDOR”.
