Allee, this one truly has me at a loss for words.
Vintage handmade fan art piece found in a St Petersburg, Florida antique mall. Please note the generous application of halved ping-pong balls for added 3-D grooviness. Photo left uncropped for as-located context.

Did you buy this? if so, I’d love a clearer shot so we could see the true madness of this but there’s no question that the nuttiness more than comes through!
The balls look really big, almost like halved onions more than ping-pong balls, although now that I really look at it I see that it’s constructed inside some kind of box so maybe it’s not as big as I’m thinking.
How much was it? The more I look at it the more completely outrageous it seems. I can’t figure out the reasoning for the positioning of some of the balls. All of which, of course, make me love it even more.

I love this and I love ping-pong balls.

Didn’t buy it, but it’s a little larger than an album cover and shooting it high on a wall across a display case with a cameraphone, this was about as sharp a shot as I could pop off… this was my third attempt!
Have a kitschy contact in St Pete that I’ll hit up for a new picture and price… watch this entry for new and exciting ping-pong-ball data!

Wow…hard to see.. Did they add all the ping pong balls and then paint?? ..It’s like Jimi Hendrix meets Peter Max???
Where they letter at the top..”Axis: Bold as love”..is that Hendrix??
I bet it’s great in person…Love the ping pong ball daisy centers..
